Katya Bourvis is a London based Choreographer and Movement Director with an extensive international performance career.

Classically trained at English National Ballet School she has danced for English National Ballet, Stuttgart Ballet, Sadler’s Wells, Aalto Ballett Essen and the Royal Opera House, under the direction of some of the finest choreographers within ballet and contemporary dance.

Since embarking on a freelance career as a choreographer and movement director she has worked within award winning film, music promos, branded content, and editorial.

In 2021, Katya was awarded an Artist in Residence grant at Sadler’s Wells. In her own choreographic work she takes a multi - disciplined approach, using visual art and sound design to creatively explore contemporary experience; she is currently directing and choreographing a series of her own dance films.
