PIA In development w/ Tala Lee Turton
PIA is an immersive live dance and music experience, blurring the boundaries between time and space as a woman grapples with her failing memory, her lost heritage, and her increasingly vivid dreams of astral transportation. Performed alongside a full 29-piece colliery brass band. PIA draws on the 7-movement odyssey, Mary Cassio: Journey To Cassiopeia, by critically-lauded Barnsley composer, Hannah Peel. Sitting at the intersection of documentary and science fiction, PIA is inspired by the neurological depths of dementia and its convergence both with an entire culture that is buried in the long-closed Barnsley coal mines, and the deep, luminously webbed vastness of space. Below is footage captured from an initial residency supported by Islington Arts Factory and Sadler’s wells.
MYRRHA Schön Magazine
Loosely inspired by Ovid’s ‘Metamorphoses’, MYRRHA is a vivid fever dream exploring classical themes of fluidity and re-creation from a strikingly contemporary perspective. Supported by Sadler’s Wells, MYRRHA considers the process of transformation through movement, structured as a surreal odyssey in three distinct parts (click on photo for full article)

WHAT ARE WE DOING Katya Bourvis & Sophie Park
WHAT ARE WE DOING is a searching, bittersweet dance film frankly exploring the challenge of retaining autonomy within a relationship. Finding moving juxtapositions in Katya’s vulnerable narration and the performance of male identifying dance artists Ben and Dom - a real life couple - WHAT ARE WE DOING is an intimate portrait of love as a work in progress, captured in an emotive synthesis of digital footage and 8mm film.Premiered at Girls in Film and Final Selection at Leeds Film Festival 2022. SLEEVES
In development
A story of anarchy, magic and mystery told with folk music, animation and dance. Stills and video are from a week long residency supported by Islington Arts Factory and Sadler’s Wells, where we explored the 16th Century Folksong GREENSLEEVES — a famous, well- trodden, but still completely arresting musical artefact.
NO TIME LIKE THE PRESENT Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre, Sheffield Theatre, Elsecar Heritage Centre
NTLTP is a darkly comic five-dancer ballet set to a dream-pop score. The piece wryly explores a landscape of female emotion, reimagining historic notions of femininity, and championing the spectrum of human feeling in all its splendour.

51 GERALDINE WAY
Originally concieved as a short film in lockdown, 51 GERALDINE WAY went on to be performed as an immersive performance at an abandoned house. Exploring the disintegration of a relationship, soundtracked by found sounds, the audience is led through different rooms, each room communicating an abstract thread of past, future and present, through the lens of each of our protagonists.
